Benefits

ANROSP envisions healthy ecosystems and communities through citizens who learn, teach and practice natural resource stewardship. Your membership in ANROSP provides you with extensive support for your existing or developing program, including:
  • Leadership resources such as mentor conference calls, listserv communications, e-newsletters, trainings, and funding information and materials.
  • Program resources including updated program delivery and best practices materials including start-up packets for developing programs, case studies, program models, and templates for commonly used documents, such as liability waivers, partner agreement forms, volunteer service hours and project approval forms.
  • Partnerships and collaborations at the local, state, and national levels and through our annual conference for increased opportunities in networking, program marketing, recognition, and funding resources.

Friend Level

Join as a friend if you want to be associated with ANROSP but are not administering a volunteer or service program. Examples of Friends are, but are not limited to, donors, volunteers or partners. Membership at the Friends level affords the opportunity to nominate for awards and a conference discount for one person. There are no voting privileges at this level.  

  • Annual membership: $50. Please note: new members must apply and be approved before submitting payment.

Program Level

A program that shares the Alliance’s mission of promoting awareness and citizen stewardship of natural resources through science-based education and service programs is eligible for a Program membership in ANROSP. Membership at this level affords many benefits.

To be eligible for Program Membership, programs must meet or be developing to meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Have a natural resource focus
  2. Be community-based
  3. Offer a minimum of 20 hours of service-oriented education and training
  4. Include a field component, either self-study or expert led, as part of that training
  5. May not be a for-profit organization

New program membership applications will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and approved by the ANROSP Board of Directors.

  • Introductory Program Membership (first year only): $100.  Please note: new members must apply and be approved before submitting payment.
  • Ongoing, annual program membership: $150

If you or your organization were a Program and Friend Member in the past and want to renew, please contact membership@anrosp.org or go to the login page and reset your password to access your member profile page.  You can submit your renewal payment to activate your account from your profile page.
