Benefits of Program Membership in ANROSP include:

Increased opportunities to network with colleagues and other national organizations and agencies;
Program resources including mentorship start-up packets for developing programs and templates for commonly used documents, such as liability waivers, partner agreement forms, volunteer service hours, project approval forms, etc.;
Discount national ANROSP conference registration for up to three members;
Access to program manager listserv;
Quarterly electronic newsletter.

Programs

ANROSP envisions healthy ecosystems and communities through citizens who learn, teach and practice natural resource stewardship. Your membership in ANROSP provides you with extensive support for your existing or developing program, including:

Leadership resources such as mentor conference calls, listserv communications, e-newsletters, trainings, and funding information and materials.
Program resources including updated program delivery and best practices materials including start-up packets for developing programs, case studies, program models, and templates for commonly used documents.
Partnerships and collaborations at the local, state, and national levels through our annual conference for increased opportunities in networking, program marketing, recognition, and funding resources.

Program Level

A program that shares the Alliance’s mission of promoting awareness and citizen stewardship of natural resources through science-based education and service programs is eligible for a Program membership in ANROSP. Membership at this level affords many benefits.

To be eligible for Program Membership, programs must meet or be developing to meet all of the following criteria:

have a natural resource focus;
be community-based;
offer a minimum of 20 hours of service-oriented education and training;
include a field component, either self-study or expert led, as part of that training;
may not be a for-profit organization.

New program membership applications will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and approved by the ANROSP Board of Directors.

Annual program membership: $150
Introductory Program Membership (first year only): $100. Please note: new members must apply and be approved before submitting payment.

Friend Level

Join as a friend if you want to be associated with ANROSP but are not administering a volunteer or service program. Examples of Friends are, but are not limited to, donors, volunteers or partners. Membership at the Friends level affords the opportunity to nominate for awards and a conference discount for one person. There are no voting privileges at this level. Annual membership: $50

If you or your organization were a Program and Friend Member in the past and want to renew, please contact membership@anrosp.org or go to the login page and reset your password to access your member profile page. You can submit your renewal payment to activate your account from your profile page.

1. Friend Membership - New Applicants Apply First - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Individuals applying for Friend Membership for first time.

Join as a friend if you want to be associated with ANROSP but are not administering a volunteer or service program. Examples of Friends are, but are not limited to, donors, volunteers or partners. Membership at the Friends level affords you website publicity, the opportunity to nominate for awards and a conference discount for one person. There are no voting privileges at this level. Application fee: Free; Annual membership: $50.

New members must complete a Friends Membership Application and receive approval before submitting the annual membership fee of $50.

New membership applications that are approved will be deleted if payment is not received within 45 days from when the individual or program is notified of acceptance, unless the applicant requests and is granted an extension from the Membership Chair.

New program members must apply and be approved before submitting annual program membership fee of $100 (first year) and $150 (second and subsequent years).

New program membership applications will be reviewed and approved by the Membership Committee and ANROSP Board of Directors. Newly developing programs do not need to have every detail of the program planned; we are looking to see that the planned program meets the membership criteria.

New membership applications that are approved will be deleted if payment is not received within 45 days from when the individual or program is notified of acceptance, unless the applicant requests and is granted an extension from the Membership Chair.
